Professional Experience

Mr. Deffner has an extensive background in real estate sales, consulting, planning and law. He remains both a licensed California attorney and a California and Hawaii real estate Broker. His background has focused on the sales and transactional sectors of the business and real estate industry. Mr. Deffner has considerable experience representing individuals and companies in business and commercial real estate transactions. His experience includes corporate planning and formation, acquisitions and sales of farm and commercially zoned land, office buildings and land development.

In addition to more than 20 years as an attorney, Mr. Deffner served as the Vice Present of Operations of a real estate sales, finance and development company in California. He was also in-house counsel and COO of a large corporation with approximately $200 million of annual revenues. He lives on the North Shore of Kauai with his wife and two daughters. His avocations include surfing and ocean sports. He coaches soccer and baseball, and is an active member of Rotary.
